The Miami Hurricanes are expected to be a much better team than the 7-5 team from last season. They did qualify for a bowl game, but had to withdraw from their game against Washington State due to COVID-19 protocols.
Miami will begin 2022 as the #16 team in the country. They are expected to be the team to beat within the ACC Coastal Division. They are the highest ranked team in the Coastal, but still trail some teams from the Atlantic.
The schedule for the Hurricanes looks manageable this season, but they do have to travel to #6 Texas A&M and #4 Clemson. Those will be the toughest tests for them this season, as the rest looks to have them as the favorite in each contest.
2022-23 Miami Hurricanes Football Schedule
- September 3: Bethune-Cookman
- September 10: Southern Miss
- September 17: @ #6 Texas A&M

Miami has the second best odds to win the ACC this season, but they are the favorites within their division. In NCAA National Title odds, they trail 11 teams who have shorter odds to bring home the hardware.

Different Ways to Get Value Out of Betting Miami
The Hurricanes have some value within the ACC, but since they have the second shortest odds, it may be smart to look for some other options to pair it with. If they win the National Championship that will give great return, but it is a riskier bet.
Focus you side bet efforts on Miami’s win total. BetOnline Sportsbook offers the ability to bet whether Miami will win 10+ games, as well as the Over/Under regular season win total, which sits at Over/Under 9.

2022-23 Miami Hurricanes Football Total Regular Season Win Line

- Over 9: +105
- Under 9: -130
The Hurricanes have a good chance to surprise some people this season. They should be the favorites in at least 10 of 12 games, so with that information, it gives the impression of a 10 win season.
If they do in fact win 10 games, you will want to bet both of the above bets. They are both in the positive, so your return is higher. If you parlay those, you could be talking some serious money.
2022-23 Miami Football Predictions
The Hurricanes are the second best team in the ACC this season. They only trail Clemson in all the odds, and they could give them a run for the ACC title at the end of the season.
I don’t see much competition within the Coastal Division for the Hurricanes to deal with. I believe they make it out of their division with relative ease, and they will advance to play in the ACC Championship game.
I have them matched up against the Clemson Tigers for the ACC title. With that, I don’t see them winning the ACC Championship this season. They will make it to the big game, but ultimately fall to a better Clemson team.
That doesn’t mean they don’t have value, as they should have a much better season than they did in 2021. Just focus on those side bets, and you should be fine with betting on Miami.
